I am having difficulty setting up mapping so thay I can use PhpED to debug files hosted locally on my computer. The settings I enter return the following error whenever I try to start the debugger: Can't debug "C:\Users\jefft\Documents\MainDocuments\TAP Project\TAP website\1and1Files\drupal\index.php" file. Make sure that "Remote root directory" and "Root URL". are correct in the project settings.

I have installed dbg and run the dbg-wizard. It reports the following:

* PHP Version: 5.2.1
* Web Server: Apache/2.0.59 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.0.59 OpenSSL/0.9.8d PHP/5.2.1 SVN/1.4.3
* Server Name: localdrupal
* OS: WINNT
* Your Client IP Address: 192.168.2.3
* Your Server IP Address: 192.168.2.3
* Port: 80
* Your Web Server is on the same machine with PhpED
* Path to website files: C:\Users\jefft\Documents\MainDocuments\TAP Project\TAP website\1and1Files\drupal\
* Document Root is: C:\Users\jefft\Documents\MainDocuments\TAP Project\TAP website\1and1Files\drupal\
* Your PHP.INI file is C:\Server\PHP\php.ini
* PHP extensions directory is C:\server\PHP\ext
* DBG (PHP DEBUGGER) Version 3.2.14 is INSTALLED

It suggests the following settings, all of which I have used:
* Project -> Root Directory: C:\Users\jefft\Documents\MainDocuments\TAP Project\TAP website\1and1Files\drupal\
* Mapping -> Run Mode: HTTP Mode (3-rd party WEB server)
* Mapping -> Remote URL: http://localdrupal/
* Mapping -> Remote Root Directory: C:\Users\jefft\Documents\MainDocuments\TAP Project\TAP website\1and1Files\drupal\ , same as Project -> Root Directory.

Any suggestions?

This problem appears to have magically solved itself (after a restart).
