Id like to add an auto close parentheses option but with a twist. If I open a parentheses, I want it to close, but if i type an end parentheses then for it to not write out a second, but to move the cursor right past it. This way i dont have to move my right hand to the arrow keys and can keep on typing.

I believe visual studio does something like this and its the only thing i miss.

Hmm, I have to admit that it does not make any good sense to me... I mean you just described the way PhpED 5.2 works since some month ago.

I just tried auto-close brackets and it does what i was looking for.

--I thought brackets meant '{' '}' and didn't include '(' ')'
