FTP underscore named directory issue

I have ran into a bug with PhpED when downloading files via FTP protocol, this does *not* occur when uploading files however.

If you tell PhpED to download a file that is in a folder which name starts with an underscore (_) you get the following error:

(Folder example: /_private/)

Invalid argument to date encode.

Also occurs if you tell PhpED to download the entire folder, same error occurs, and no files are downloaded.

I have confirmed this is a problem with PhpED, as I can get to the files just fine via any other FTP client without any issues.

Please fix this really annoying issue as soon as possible.

(Has anyone else ran into this problem?)

most probably this is an issue date/time stamp of the directory or one of the files in it.

So then fix software to better handle it?

Also, I've checked, none of the timestamps are wrong, also with the exact same folder

If I rename it to the name without the underscore, the problem goes away.

So it is your software, I even opened up 2 other PHP IDE's and went to the same ftp with the underscores, no problems at all.

Jason,

I just tried with proftpd and no problems happened. I created a few directories with one and many underscores, including _private. Worked fine.
Please log in to the server with ftp console, cd to the directory, run ls -la (or just ls) command and let me see the output.

Umm, proftpd is a server-side ftp daemon.

I'm talking about PhpED, the client?

My server runs proftpd as well.

The times are fine, they are all fairly recent, none are way off, etc.

Its *only* phped that does this, all my other ftp clients and editors it does not happen.
