I have a problem with mappings, I am getting this error message when trying to run the script.
Can't run G:\Development\testsite\index.php
Make sure "Remote root directory" and "Root URL" are correct in the project settings.

My configuration is, Vista main box with a separate Linux box on IP 10.174.12.X
In my hosts file I have
mywebserver 10.174.12.X

In the configuration I have
Run Mode: Http mode (3rd Party WEB server)
Root URL: http://mywebserver
Remote Root Directory: /home/sites/testsite

I have been developing up to now using vim. each site I am working on is mapped to its own IP in the 10.174.12.X range and is accesible via a browser using xyz.localhost where xyz is the sitesname. This name is then mapped via the windows hosts file. It FTP's the site over ok, and is viewable in firefox by accessing the above URL.

I am wondering if phped looks as *.localhost and thinks it should refer to 127.0.0.1 without looking at the hosts file or asking for DNS resolution? Or am I being a nub and making a silly mistake?

Regards

I have just found the dbg-wizard.php and it confirms the settings I am using are correct Sad
I have also changed the mywebserver to work on testsite.localnet to rule that out. still no joy.
