Visible right margin

I recently started evaluating phpED 3.3 and I'm very impressed, but one very basic feature that I think is missing is a visible right margin. If I want to make sure my lines don't exceed, say, 80 characters, it would be very helpful to have a line drawn down the screen at column 80, or any user-specified value.
