Hey all,

This PhpED seems to be the way to go, so I'm trying it out, intentions to buy.

I'm trying to get the FTP portion of it working, but it keeps giving me this 'Error #11004', which is frustrating since I'm using the same basic settings as I use with other FTP Programs.

For Connection
Host or IP address: http://(ip entered here)
Port: 21
Root directory: /
Time offset, h: 0
Passive Mode: Checked
SSL (ftps): Unchecked (related items greyed out)
Use Cache: Checked
Socks Proxy: Unchecked (related items greyed out)
Authentication: (Login name & Password are correct)


Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Network error codes >= 11000 correspond to the problems with DNS and hostnames.
In your case, it's hostname that you mistyped. Please remove all protocol specifiers and use either plain hostname or plain IP. For example myserver but not ftp://myserver.
