I would like a way to view a long string value in the debugger, without having to first copy it to the clipboard and paste it into a string editor.

The problem with long strings, is that you need a string editor that does page wrap.
If only a double click in the value field of the debugger would open up a window showing the entire value.


It is needed if you have a very long query string.
I use a 22" widescreen, but that is not even wide enough to show the entire value of some of the strings if I do a mouse over.

did you try Immediate window where you can type a stetement or variable name and get the value immediately below?
