Hi, stupid question, but could anyone tell me what this feature is? I keep accidentally activating it with some keyboard shortcut when I make a typo, and then can't get rid of it! lol, stupid, I know.

Cheers

The icon that the first arrow is pointing to, is the bookmark feature, and it is showing you the number of the bookmark inside. To jump to this location anywhere in your code, just press [CNTRL - Q] and the number of the bookmark you want to go to. For more info, see the help file under bookmark.

As for the arrow at the end of the line, I do not know what that is.

The default shortcut to activate/deactivate them is Ctrl+Shift+<1..9>
To navigate to a bookmark you can use Ctrl+<1..9>

The tiny up-pointing triangle that the second arrow is pointing to is the location that the cursor was at when you placed the bookmark. In your screenshot, when you go to bookmark 0, your cursor will be placed on that line, and at the position of the triangle.
