Hi all,

I´m about to evaluate phped switching from Ultraedit. since I like to work with only one primary editor, I like to have it flexible. now, when I choose "view source" within internet explorer, phped shows up correctly with the html source code, but highlighting does not work.
I suppose because the IE temp files dont have extensions. anyway, can I switch coloring manually so I work in HTML mode without the extension? Also, I would need this feature since not all PHP files I use have the .php extension.

thanks a lot for helping!
chris.-

afaik phped completely bases what highlighting scheme is used on the file extension. It is possible to add new file extensions so that they are recognized (under Tools > Settings > IDE > Associantions). But being able to change/disable the active highlighting on the fly would be a handy feature indeed.

As of build 5227 highlighting on the source page works fine for me:
