Installing NuCoder on a GoDaddy shared Linux account... |
|
I thought this deserved it's own post. The admins may wish to also copy this to the NuLoader forum:
After repeated calls to GoDaddy regarding the ability to install third-party loader files on their shared hosting accounts, I finally got someone on the phone who pointed me to this article: http://www.reviewsforjoomla.com/option,com_smf/Itemid,34/topic,976.0/ This documents, in detail, the steps necessary to install third-party loaders on GoDaddy linux-based shared hosting accounts. There even seems to be support for the typical auto-install that comes with most loaders. GoDaddy's official position if you call their support line is that third-party loaders cannot be installed on shared hosting accounts. Of course, they have an article in their knowledge base (http://help.godaddy.com/topic/423/article/1467) that indicates otherwise. Best ~ Lee |

It's a typical for marketing dept to advertize more than support wants to support
If they did not block dl() function, you can load phpexpress in run-time and have your encoded scripts working fine. The only problem with v1.4 is that the script that calls dl() itself can't be encoded. With next major release we will provide a solution that will allow to encode this script too. |
