It would also be very beneficial to add the CVS tag command as well as the cvs delete.

For our development pipeline we would like to tag items as pre-production on commit. That way we can have cvs or a shell script actually publish all files tagged pre-production, then tag them as production after the publish.

So, this functionality would be a big time saver Exclamation

In the commit window you can find "Assign new revision".
For example if you have 1.3 you can assign 1.4 or 2.0 and later retrieve sources by revision number.
Does it solve your problem ?

I saw that as well. We will be letting CVS assign the revision numbers automatically since individual files will go through many different revisions compared to other files in the same project. Using tags allows us to know which ones are in pre-production and others that are already published / live....

Adding the tag & delete functionality would make the CVS integration a lot more better, now we have to do these functions all manually. Wouldn't it be an idea to provide some custom cvs (or other external) actions, so you could perform every cvs (or other) function.

It would be very helpfull!
