[resolved] Changing icon for PhpDock on the desktop

Maybe I'm missing something here, but in order to launch my 'application' (script), the user must first initiate an instance of phpdock.exe. While I realize that my favicon appears in the browser window, the Dock icon appears on the end-user's desktop, which is not exactly re-branding. Am I doing something wrong, or is this an unresolved issue with Dock and the re-branding idea? A true re-brand would have my icon (and my icon only) appear to my users when I redistribute.

I figure I can rename phpdock.exe, but that doesn't resolve the icon issue.

Thanks.

Are you talking about Trial version?

then the icon can be changed without any problems. Did you try phpdock settings?

[Application]
Icon=.\web\appicon.ico

The .ini settings are only recognized after Dock is started. I'm talking about prior to my clients starting dock.

then it depends on the installer you use.

For example if you use InnoSetup, you may want to write something like below in your iss file:

[Icons]
Name: "{group}\My Applicatoin"; Filename: "{app}\renamedphpdock.exe"; WorkingDir: "{app}"; IconFilename: "{app}\web\appicon.ico";

check with innosetup manual for further details.
