I currently have a full licence of Version 4.6 however the Run Menu has become disabled - I suspect I have changed something in the configuration but have tried for weeks to find what I may have changed to no avail -

Not sure if this is related but I suspect so - I have the ability to step through the code however the final page is never displayed in either the embedded browser or external ones.

Run menu may become disabled if there are no files opened in the IDE or currently opened file is neither HTML nor PHP4 nor PHP5. You may want to check File Associations in the tools->settings dialog.

Thanks for the help however I think you may be off the mark a little.

1. If I didn't have a file open in the IDE how would I manage to step through the code
2. File Associations are setup

Do you have any other suggestions?

I'm considering ditching the program altogether

Not sure how or why but

IDE -> IDE Settings
Default run mode:

was set to Local CGI (php.exe) - changing this to HTTP Mode(SRV local WEB server) resolves the issue
