I follow the dbg wizzard instructions and all installs well. I can debug my files with no problems. My Apache / MySQL / PHP 5 install is WAMP 2.0. All is also well after I restart all services; I can still debug with no problems. If I exit WAMP 2.0 then start it again it appears to corrupt its own config file while adding the "php_ext_php_dbg.dll-5.2.x". I've noticed that it appears to try and add it twice at the same point it corrupts this file. This is an extract from the file where the corruption takes place.

[php_ext_php_dbase[/color]]

[php_ext_php_dbx]

Action: readconfig;

The above is a copy / paste as it appears in the file (no typos).

Any suggestions anybody?

I've already tried uninstalling WAMP 2.0 and installig it again, but the same results.

Thanks

I feel like such an idiot ! I renamed the dll "php_dbg.dll-5.2.x" to "php_dbg.dll" I've stopped , restarted and exited WAMP 2.0 & PhpED in all permutations and it seems to work.

I'm sure that I read somewhere that there was no need to change the dll name!! Never mind it works now.

See what happens when you give a newby to servers etc a something like PhpED Embarassed

Thanks all

Jonathan
