All the commands including this one are there.

i know, but thats not the problem - its more trivial: I mean an icon (picture) assigned to the command "Open Workspace", like "Open" or "New". So i could use View->Toolbars->Customize to add a "Open Workspace" button (without text) to my toolbar...

ah, I see.
Sorry, icons can't be added, but if long text is what confuses you, you can make it shorter. See popup menu for the button after toolbar is turned into customization mode.
