Hello,
I create a new javascriptfile with Menu File/New/Javascript File.js,
but I cannot save the file in the project folder.
The Message appers "Cannot create File..."

If I create a .js file with ultraedit in my project folder I can't open it with phped.

I use php Version 5 Build 5025 under windows vista.
Is there a special option for js files?

Thanks in advance
rudito

First of all PhpED 5.0 (5025) is not Vista-aware and therefore it created its "projects" directory under Program Files tree where regular user accounts have no permissions to write to. You may want to upgrade to version 5.0.1 or 5.2. Their "projects" directory is located appropriately, in the user account directory tree.

Regarding ultraedit, I do not think that it can create any files there unless you run it as administrator. Most probably it's Vista Virtualization feature is what you faced up with. Vista pretends that the file is successfully created and shows it there, but in fact file is located in the other directory. Try to run Windows Explorer as administrator and check if you still see your files in their locations Smile
