You need to do it with the mouse Edit->Copy and Edit->Paste

Why the starndard terminal shortucts like Shift + Insert does not work? It's realy annoying to copy text from terminal and then paste it back in the same window through Mouse->Edit->Paste.

Some applications that you run in the terminal may use that keys for their own needs. On the other hand, I agree that this makes sense to have an option to let IDE to intercept Shift+Ins and paste text from the clipboard.

I've been wondering, can you guys add the feature like putty? It's so simple and so easy to just right click in the terminal window and it pastes. A keyboard shortcut would be nice too, but I would think the right click would be simple to implement.

Yes right click just like in putty is also very handy. Anyway it would be nice to have some sort of fast-pasting feature, because in my scenario I have to work a lot with databases through terminal (lot's of SQL pasting and testing).

What's about weel-click? it's a widely known shortcut for Paste under Linux.
