I go into IE and i have a page that is running slow so i click on the profile button it refresh the screen as does nothing, what shoudl this button do? it there and program that will allow me to profile a page to see where my bottle necks are?

Also this is on a remote server, not localhost.

Do you have debugger (dbg module) installed on that remote remote server? Without it there is nothing to process the profiling request and the page just refreshes as it does with F5.
