Anyway, the meat:
I have downloaded an evaluation copy of PhpED recently, and would like to have evaluate it on my development pc at work. Problem is, this computer does not have a connection to the internet (forbidden by employer policy).

How else might I evaluate this product?

I think you'd ask your employer on how to get an access to whatever he restricted access to.
