How do I make the IDE create a file in the current explorer folder?

looks like it is impossible and it is very annoying
it should be possible to right click on the folder and choose 'New file here'

also, when new file is creted adn then again you go to create a new file save dialog does not remember the last used folder, you have to go search for it on the disk again

'New File Here...' would make a nice suggestion

Regarding the 'search for it again' bit, you can use the 'Favorites' option to specify common locations.

i do use it, but anyway most applications remember the last location you used.

That's true however, are you aware that the default file location is restricted to the value defined in the current project?

Maybe the developers made that decision assuming a coder would only be working on one project at a time - dunno.
