How do I change default HTML doctype declaration? |
|
You can change the default templates. Just go to your installation dir and then to the 'templates' folder and open the html template.
This is the location using a default installation: C:\Program Files\nusphere\phped\templates You can also add new templates and stuff Really useful |

Invalid doctype |
|
I know this is a bit old, but I just purchased PhpED and find it amazing. The only thing I have found as of yet that would need to be updated is the DOCTYPE declaration. It is not correctly declared.
What is.. <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> Should be <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> The path to the DTD is missing in the IDE template which causes the pages to fall in quirks mode. Hope this helps. mikcyd |
