I recently started using the DBG debugger for remote debugging, and it is fantastic. Thank you, Dmitri. I wrote a step-by-step article on setting up the debugger using SSH on RedHat ES. Specifically, these instructions include notes on configuring a PuTTY session to do the SSH tunneling for you.

I host my servers on RackSpace, and this setup should work with most RackSpace Linux implementations. Dmitri's online instructions were great, but these specific instructions might be helpful for people using the same setup as me.
