Newbie to Techplatform. Switching from Wamp.

I have installed apache, it is up and working. However, after setting up my virtual hosts via extras/httpd-vhosts.conf.in and enabling it in httpd.conf I can no longer access https://localhost/adminsite. Apache sends back the following message. "localhost has sent an incorrect or unexpected message. Error code -12263"

If I disable the virtual sites it reverts to working. So I am guessing this has to do with the SSL and the virtual hosts but am at a loss as to what to do to fix the problem.

Any direction would be appreciated.

Thanks

if you added new SSL, did you do this for host-based VHosts or port-based ones?
Really, you can't have more than one VHost running SSL until you run them on different ports.
It's not a limitation of Apache or Techplatform. It's from VHost itself. Indeed, before your browser send a request and specify host name (VHost) it wants to talk to, SSL handshake should already be completed and it must be finished with SSL certificates installed for the VHost which is ... not known at the moment... until there is only one VHost running SSL on this port. Do you get the idea? Smile
