Hello,

Is there a way to configure PHPed to call an external editor such as beyond compare to do a quick diff between two files? I know that beyond compare accepts command line arguments (as most diff tools), and I know that we can add a command line call to the right click menu in PHPed. But I am wondering how to pass the two selected files as arguments.

Any ideas?

I figured this out, or I guess I should say that I just noticed that if you select 2 files in the IDE, then right click and choose the shell menu you will see the beyond compare shortcut in the menu. Just select it and the two files will be loaded into beyond compare.
