undo to act more like other editors (part II)

In addition to the tapered discussion on how Undo oddly undoes cursor movements, I would like to request that undo completely restore a paste-over operation (as in other editors).

ex.
1) select some text
2) paste replacement text (to replace highlighted portion)
3) CTRL-Z/Undo

At this point, the replacement text that was pasted has disappeared leaving an empty line. Currently, the developer must superfluously hit Undo one more time to recall the replaced text. Desired/expected operation is that Undo would revert to exactly how the text was one paste command prior: showing the replaced text.

hmm, it looks like a bug. It didn't require two Undoes as far as I remember...
