Hi,
I can't seem to get smart tabs to work, I check it off in the editor settings but it does not work.

This is what is supposed to happen:

When tabbing, the cursor will go to the next non-white space character of the previous line.

I am assuming PHPEd uses Synedit and the definition is from the synedit source, and this is also how smart tabs work in Delphi.

It's possible that the smart tabs option will only work with a specific set of enabled editor options that I just have not figured out yet.

If anyone knows how to get this working let me know.

normally smart tab indents cursor position according to the line above. For example if previous line is indented to 40th position and cursor is on the 20th, pressing Tab while Smart tab is on will advance cursor position to 40.
