I'm sorry to start another post on this but i have tried everything and not been successful in resolving this. i really want to buy the software but if i can't debug then i might as well as well use xdebug in the browser.

Here is what i have:

PHP Version 5.1.6
Apache 2.0.59
DBG 2.15.1

When I do a phpinfo(), it displays your name in the copyright:

This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine:
Zend Engine v2.1.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2006 Zend Technologies
with DBG v2.15.1, (C) 2000,2006, by Dmitri Dmitrienko

-- and down below there is a DBG section:

DBG php debugger, version 2.15.1, Copyright 2001, 2006, Dmitri Dmitrienko, www.nusphere.com

Version 2.15.1
Linked as a shared library.
Profiler compiled, enabled

Directive Local Value Master Value
debugger.enable_session_cookie On On
debugger.enabled On On
debugger.fail_silently On On
debugger.ignore_nops Off Off
debugger.JIT_enabled Off Off
debugger.JIT_host clienthost clienthost
debugger.JIT_level 3 3
debugger.JIT_port 7869 7869
debugger.profiler_enabled On On
debugger.session_nocache On On
debugger.timeout_seconds 300 300

I have the following in my php.ini:

...
;extension=php_xsl.dll
extension=php_dbg.dll

...
debugger.enabled=On
debugger.profiler_enabled=On
debugger.fail_silently=Off

The I do run->run in debugger it tries to start the session and then gives me the message -- even though in the phped log there is a u=http://localhost:8086/wiki/index.html?DBGSESSION=391...;d=1,p=0,c=1 line.

I have run through just about all the posts i have seen and have set up the project to what dbg-wizard.php tells me to. No luck! Any other suggestions?

Many thanks--
Tim

PhpED comes with commercial debugger version 3.1.9.
Please follow instructions on how to install it: http://forum.nusphere.com/howto-install-debugger-module-t576.html

Could you post the actual link for the debugger download? I tried following this directions but step 5 in the "INSTALL" section on http://forum.nusphere.com/howto-install-debugger-module-t576.html (install debugger module) points me to some random marketing page that doesn't seem to have a download link for the debugger module. Or if it does, it is very cleverly hidden.

Is there a direct link that you can send me to download it?

Thanks,
Tim

Your dbg module is in <phped install>\debugger\server\Linux\dbg-3.1.9-Linux.tar.gz

Tim, I'm not sure what you mean.
p.5.1 contains the following:
