Hello,
I'm about to evaluate PhpED, but would like to ask if anyone has used it in a similar setup as me and how well it worked.

I will be running it on a local Windows machine. The source code I will be working on will be Samba mounted from the machine that the web server will be running on (a Linux machine). I have full root access to the web server machine.

The two features that I'm really evaluating are profiling and debugging. How easily is it to do those two things given my current development setup?

Thanks,
-- Christopher

P.S. I would ultimately prefer to use PhpED on Linux... but I guess that's not possible.

I believe it's not hard even for the first time. Needless to say it's pretty easy when you do the same 2nd time.
You'll need apache, php and phpdebugger on the linux,
appropriate phped project settings on the windows and that's all you need Smile
