I'm trying to debug locally under PHP 5.2/Apache.
(I't all works under the PHP that is installed under C:\Nusphere\phped\php5 wich is 5.16.)


I've installed the php_debug.dll => DBG v2.15.1, (C) 2000,2006, by Dmitri Dmitrienko from the extensions and it loads correct.
But when starting a debug session the message it can not load:

"Failed to start debug session (error:1) Please make sure .." etc.

(I added my php info for detailed info.)

anyone got it working with a local PHP 5.2 installation?

You may not use debugger 2.15 with NuSphere PhpED.
PhpED comes with all supported debugger modules for all platforms and it's what should be used.

ps, I'm using the evaluation version. Is this not 5.2 compliant( because i can not find it?)

Seems you're trying to install debugger module for your PHP. I'm not sure why php 5.2 supplied by NuSphere is not suitable for you or you just didn't try it..., there is a link btw on Download page http://www.nusphere.com/download.php.ide.htm

yes you're right but that was because the Nusphere trial (NuSphere-phped-4.6.2evl-Win32.exe) installed its PHP 5.16 (and uses this while debugging). Are you saying that with this version it is possible to install PHP 5.2 for debugging?

btw, I like Nusphere very much, I ( an absolute newbie on PHP and Apache etc.) got it working (with PHP5.16) and allready learned a lot from it (that's what a debugger must do: learn a newbie a new language

Right, trial comes with php-5.1.6 and it is quite stable version. If you need php-5.2.0, you may download it from the page I mentioned. It contains debugger module and will override 5.1.6. If you use this 5.1.6 for your Apache, please do not forget to stop Apache service before installing 5.2.0.
