When I to call pdf_new from phpEd it says it can't find that function. How can I add pdfLib to the PHP that phpEd uses so that I can create a script that creates pdfs?

You need to enable php_pdf.dll in the php.ini file of PHP version that you are using. PhpED installs php 4 and 5 (depends on what you selected at the install time) in the directories PHP and PHP5 and . You need to edit php.ini file in the correspoding php directory to enable that extension, just like any other php extension. Thanks!
