Is there a way to escape the "|" character in code templates?

I have a code template that contains multiple | characters and the cursor gets placed on the wrong one.

Nope, pipe can't be escaped, yet.
Could you please make an example of a useful code template containing pipes?

Hi Dmitri,

In fact the only places I've needed this is for PHP "or" statements using || and in our file headers.

I was just hoping that such a feature existed, I don't feel you should spend time on it when there's so many more things to work on.

Thanks and Happy Holidays.

As already mentioned, the primary concern for PHP would be the || operator. However, one might also want to use a pipe inside of a string, and I've frequently seen pipes used in template systems.
