Code Explorer and JS Files

Does the Code Explorer support JS files? Does it list the functions within a JS file? If so, how do I get it to work? Presently, it's showing me only me PHP functions. When I select single file mode and enter a JS file the Code Explorer shows me only the name of the JS file and none of the functions within it.

Code Explorer supports only php files.
