Hello.
What is the "native" browser that is launched when using phpDock.exe?
Is it a custom browser, or is it tied to a specific Microsoft browser?
Is it possible to disable the "CTRL-N"?

Thanks.

Hello Dmitri.
Thanks.
Our initial testing proved that as well, however we were confused
with regards to IE7. It appears using phpDock, some features that
are no longer in IE7 specific to URL handlers, appear to work with
phpDock. Same with Windows Vista.
One feature we utilize is the telnet handler, (telnet://)
This has been removed in IE7, and Vista.
Not that I am complaing that it works with phpDock, just am confused as
to why it does.

Thanks again.

I didn't try IE7 with telnet:// protocol, but even if this does not work, it does not mean that IE7 being embedded does not support it.
In other words it might be iexplorer.exe or some of its components just intercept some protocols including telnet:// while browser itself still supports them.

Hi Dmitri.
Thanks again, and sorry for the slow response, as I have been away for a bit.
IE7 has removed the telnet handler, per the release notes. MS Developers have
confirmed this. While I have created a workaroud for our internal product,
I had thought about moving part of the client to the users desktop, and
phpDock looks like it will fill the need.

Our methods for utilizing the telnet handlers with phpDock, was to install a new
handler in the registry, specifically for telnet. In IE 5.x - 6.x, the handler works
perfectly. This same registry setting are ommited from IE7, and if added do not
work. However if I use an instance of "explorer" instead of IE7, it will work.
This is why I was asking about the browser.

Thanks Dmitri, and "Great Work!!".
