Restart PHP ED Without loading prior windows?

Hi,

I pasted in some HTML code into an HTML window and then tried to preview it which crashed the system. That' OK (I"m not surprised) but now I can't re-open PHP ED. The splash screen comes up and sits on "Restoring Main Form..." and then the whole process goes away!

How can I tell it to not restore the previous environment???

I can edit the registry if neccessary.

Getting a response quickly would be a great help!

Thanks!
Barry

Bump!

Any help anybody? I suppose I could re-install everything but I have some customizations I'd like to keep.

Please first make sure you have the latest build installed. We pay great attention to stability and it's possible that the crash is already fixed.
If not, you can try to load another workspace by specifying it in the command line or you can delete its <workspace>.dsk file.

Thanks for the reply Dmitri!

I ramed the phped.dsk file tin the Program Files/nusphere/phped directory but that didn't help.

I believe I am running the most current build.

Again, I think the problem is some bad HTML code was asked to execute by clicking on the rendered tab (sorry but I can't load PHP ED now so I can describe it correctly)

I inspected the .dsk file and it doesn't appear to have the HTML code in it. Where is that stored?

Any other ideas?

Thanks!
Barry

Certainly, you started from the end. Why not to check version & build number first?

thanks.

Now please open regedit,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NuSphere\PHPEd4.6\Preferences key and check Dflt_Workspace value which would point to the workspace file.
This file just lists all the projects included into workspace and you'll also find another file in the same name and in the same directory but with .dsk extension. This file lists all files to be opened. Please find your html file and send it to me by email.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have your own workspace? or you are always working with "Default" one?
Try to launch phped.exe with a php file as an argument.
