I want to make CTRL+Shift+/ a multi line comment but the Preferences dialouge ignores what I type when using that character, why?

Could you please submit screenshot of the Settings window captured in the moment when you're trying to type that character?

As I said, nothing happens when I try to type in the input area the / symbol.
Actually nothing happnes unless I type alphanumeric chars, can't use ,.';[] etc... If I type each char manually: |

hmm, it works for me.
Please make sure keyboard is in US layout. BTW, by default shortcut for multi-line comment is already Shift+Ctrl+/ Did you change it? |

Hi
thanks for keeping on top of this thread. I literally installed it and started coding. I used phpedit until yesterday and that was simply select line or multiple lines then press '/'. So when that didn't work (or Ctrl+/, or Ctrl+Shift+/) I went into settings and notcied that both were empty. So no I've not chaged anything no. I've a GB/English layout, I'll try your suggestion. |
