Can not stop debugger

I have a problem with my debugger – it will not stop working once I have launched my programme in it. It works well at first, but if I attempt to launch again without the debugger it will not stop working (expecting F7, F8 etc. to step through). When I click on the Stop button a CGI/FastCGI message comes up suggesting that I should report the matter to Microsoft. If I click on “Don’t send”, this window appears.

But the debug session is not terminated and I am forced to continue debugging. (Incidentally this date function is not in my programme.)

If I launch the programme without a debugger it runs very well and will relaunch successfully.

Check Watch window to make sure it does not contain something unneeded like that data() function call.

As I understand, "send to ms" stuff" clearly points to php.exe or Apache.exe, right?

Yes; the Error signature is AppName:php-cgi.exe AppVer:5.1.4.4 ModName:phtt5s.dll ModVer:5.1.4.4 Offset: 0009c5f.

This php-cg1.exe is in NuSphere 4.6 (Build 4620). Should I download again and re-install?

I'm not sure why would php crash on executing date("1,j F Y") but if that's the case, I'd recommend you to submit bug at bugs.php.net site.

Regarding "Failed to evaluate" message, just remove date("1,j F Y") from Watches window if it crashes php Smile
