I am the editor of where we are doing a review of PHP editors. I have tried to connect to my local Oracle XE datbase with no success. Also In following the Soap links many failed to connect including BEA, Oracle, Iona among others. This on a broadband connection for which I am able to connect to these very same SOAP services.

Finally is there any database table viewer/editor add on available for phpED ?

hi there - actually all these things are known to work quite well. Could you please post some screenshots illustrating the problem? We'll get to the bottom of it
Table viewer is part of PhpED DB Client, available on DB Client tab - by default it is docked on the right side.
