hi all

when i undo quite a lot of changes to a document, i'm left with code that's subtly mangled. characters missing or in the wrong place here and there. is anyone else seeing this?

thanks

prof.

I think the answer is NO.
Are you sure the file was different before changes compared to the content with full-undo applied?
Can you replicate the problem? If yes, please contact NuSphere support directly.

ok- i tested again and it's the line breaks and some indenting being mangled. here's an example:

before applying undo, this was a nicely indented code block at all times. the undo has broken my code on lines 352 and 356 and and has completely eliminated the line indent on lines 351 and 356.

thanks

update: here are the steps to replicate:

1. started with a long PHP script (500 lines)
2. made about 100 changes. mainly copy/pasting whole blocks around
3. undid all changes.
4. ended up with result as you see above.

Do you have either OptimalFill checked or KeepTrailingBlanks unchecked in the editor settings?
Please try with OptimalFill option turned off and KeepTrailingBlanks turned on.

I see it too. I figured it was just the option 'keep trailing blanks' being unset that does it.
Careful of undoing block modifications as well.
