I am trying to bebug a joomla project. The debugger is working for the base pages (which has a good number of includes). But when I hit the afmin pages, the debugger loses it's session. This forces me to continue logging into the admin interface, and I can never get to the admin page(s) I want to debug. I have the Tools | Settings | Debug Debug Session true.

What else can I check to ensure that I keep session? I was able to do so with Zend. If I can get this to work, I will definately buy this product as it addresses all my needs. If not I will have to go back to Zend

"Debug session" uses cookie and therefore will work until you change domain or switch from http to https.
I'd recommend you to try NuSphere Toolbar (available for IE) and run debug session from there.

The admin site is on the same domain, and does not switch to https. Cookies are also allowed.

Then it should work good.

If nothing helps, check Web server logs to see what actually runs and what codes it returns.
