i try for on day nusphere :
for test the debugger function,i use a script who run on my website ok online

nusphere turn in a local machine,
when i call mysq_connect on my web site, i have this error : can't connect. the databasename is "cristallogenese.com"
in the debogger the variable name string $base is correct "cristallogenese.com" but the error message said "can't connect to cristallogenese.@mywanIp"

why ?? thanks by avance.

check manual for mysql_connect. You'd specify username and database address.
Regarding different error messages, it's probably because you have a different mysql client library on the live server.

Not sure I understood what you meant in the 2nd question. If you need mysql server, just try mysql web site. You can run any version from 3.23 up to 5. In case of version 4.1 or higher, you will have to update libmysql.dll in phped directory.
