Problem with DBG/Linux incl'd with PhpED 4.5 *solved*

I'm unable to get the remote debugger that comes with the eval edition of PhpED 4.5 to load. I get the following error when the extension tries to load:

PHP Warning: Unknown(): Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php/extensions/dbg.so-4.3.10' - /usr/lib/php/extensions/dbg.so-4.3.10: undefined symbol: itoa in Unknown on line 0

I installed the eval edition of PhpED 4.0.1 last week and the remote debugger worked fine. Has anybody else run into this issue with the new version of PhpED?

Thanks for the report, it's a big problem and will be fixed in dbg-2.20.1.

Hi,
I just downloaded the 4.5 eval version and (disappointingly) am getting the same error.
When should I check back for an update?
Is there any workaround until then?

Thanks!

Hi All,

I too am having problems with the DBG module for Linux that came with the PHPEd 4.5 evaluation version.

I am trying to install the dbg.so-4.3.2 module. I do not get any errors, but the module info does not appear in phpinfo() and PHPEd complains about the missing module when I try to remotely debug a simple app.

I have installed previous versions of DBG and they worked, so I am pretty sure that I have installed it correctly.

BTW, I am using DBG-2.20.1-linux.

Are there any known issues or new versions out that might fix this problem?

Thanks.
Jeff

There were problems with our packager.
We fixed it recently and hopefully everything is okay by now.
Give renewed evaluation version a try again Smile
