Unable to load dynamic library '/etc/php/extensions/dbg.so'

Hi,

I have compiled the src on fedora using gcc3.3.6. That worked and it created an .so. Copied it to the extension dir, but when looking in the logfiles the following error occured.

PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/etc/php/extensions/dbg.so' - /etc/php/extensions/dbg.so: undefined symbol: zend_extensions in Unknown on line 0
[Tue Feb 21 14:52:41 2006] [notice] Apache/2.2.0 (Unix) PHP/5.1.2 configured -- resuming normal operations

I have googled my ass off but found nada... any of you have ideas

You'd compile php from its sources.
What you have installed has all the symbols stripped off and therefore can't load anything, including in particular dbg.so.
