I have just spent 4 hours and not been able to get the eval version of phpeditor working with the debugger. Can some one please help ?

it's a known issue with dbg-2.18.2 under Linux 64.
Fixed in v 2.18.5 that comes with NuSphere PHPed 4.0 service pack #1 (build 4048) which is already available from the site.

This is the error message that I now get on the client side:

Seems you're trying to work with dbg module v 2.18 with PHPED v 3.3
This combination won't work. There are only two ways either use dbg 2.16 that comes with PHPED v3.3 or upgrade to PHPED v4.

I want to use dbg 2.16. But where do I get the linux64 version of dbg.so 2.16. ?

The eval version of linux phped 3.3 does not have the linux 64 version of dbg.so 2.16.

If you're a customer please contact support dept. (see Contact Us page on www.nusphere.com site) for updates.

I am not a customer yet. I was going to try the trial version and see if it works for me!!

you may want to try with another platform that is supported by phped 3.3 trial version.

would you be so nice to compile linix64 version of dbg.so for phped 3.3 and put it inside the linux phped evaluation download.

Since in our company, we dont have a single windows machine. And all the machines are AMD opterons.

So i really need to run linux phped on opteron.

You may try with 32bit linux then. It's known to work fine on 64bit AMDs.
