Hi,

one thing in phpEd 4 (4039) that really bothers me is this:

Whenever you click a line of code in an open file, the editor immediately marks the file as 'changed'. When you are closing the file again, phpEd asks if the changes should be saved or not. There were no changes though.

This is a bit irritating as I kind of lose control whether I edited a file or not.

Can this be fixed?

replying to myself here:

The thing seems to happen with whitespace at the end of the line. I click the file, it's marked as changed. I save. I click again: No change. I know that my files had whitespace at the line endings (migrating over from Zend Studio and I have configured phpEd to strip those.

None the less. This behaviour is intransparent. The conversion should be done on *saving*. Not just by clicking on the editor.
