CSS not highlighting and no auto-complete

Hello All,

my PhpED does not do CSS highlighting or auto-complete. Has anyone ran across this before? when I open a new CSS file in PhpED, the <style ...> element has a little green quiggly under it and a tag that says:

"the first tag in the document was out of range. The document has been checked with the assumption that a block of html that belong in a <html><head></head></html> section is being validated."

check if your CSS file has css extension or at least its extension is registered as CSS in Tools->Settings->associations
