I'm working with the trial version V4.4033, and set some autocorrections to avoid the use of some specific Portuguese letters like the cedilha (Ç) and many 'tilded' vowels, but autocorrection seems to work only if the word begins with a 'normal' letter (ascii < 127). This behaviour is different from V3.3.

I already have tried to change the Default file encoding, but was unsuccessfull.

Looking inside phped.cfg we can see this in the first line:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" .....

Is this "utf-8" the reason for my problem? No matter which Default File Enconding I choose, the phped.cfg is saved with the first line showing utf-8.

Any suggestions?

Great guru Ddmitrie, would you please tell me if this is a real bug or just a misconfiguration in my installation?

I've requested info from QA dept and seems they are still getting and installing Portuguese windows to get the problem replicated.
I'll comeback with news as soon as I get them.

Thank you ddmitrie. Another issue I notice in this version concerning autocorrection is that it's not possible to cut&paste when editing the "Correct to" field. This was possible in version 3.3.

It's already fixed in build 4035.

ddmitrie, any news about this issue? I've just bought and downloaded the build 4039 and the autocorretion still doesn't work.

If I set an autocorrection like "ção" (ção) to "cao", it simply doesn't work.

Sorry if I gave you misleading info.
I just tried with the latest build (4042):
On Tools->settings->autocorrection I added line with ção and cao, then created new php file, pasted ção, pressed space and this word was replaced with cao.
Sorry again if it does not work in 4039.
