Within code insight the above setting is not remaining checked.

Every time I start up it is unticked, I have set my includes in Project Properties -> Properties -> Code Insight Includes but Code Insite still checks globally.

PhpED -> 4033
WinXP SP 2

I have to confirm, there is a problem with this checkbox. Its state is not saved.
Fixed version (build 4037) is already available to our customers per request.

Finally, it will be released as PHPED update pack #1.

honestly, this checkbox is not so important. You may leave it always unchecked.
It's intended to turn on additional filter to show in the code completion list only finctions/vartaibles/etc available in the included files.
Actually, it's not always possible to gather complete list of included files, in particular you might have something like include $mydir/$mylang."_f.php";
and phped has very little to do with it... And finally sometimes it's even better to see all the functions/classes/methods/consts etc than filtered.
So that checkbox while unchecked is good enough.
