Full support for PHP5 is planned for the next major release of PHPED.
Regarding mysqli functions, you can download updated func.cfg using the link below: http://forum.nusphere.com/sshot/func.cfg |

When you sat "major release" I assume you mean PHPED 4.0?
What sort of time frame are we talking for the "next major release." |

the next major release for 3.3.3 is either 3.4 or 4.0. A minor one would be 3.3.4. Regarding the timeframe, I'd love to have the product done in a month or less.

And we would love you for it. It's a damn fine product. I am very pleased with it!

It's been almost A year about this soon. So Is this development still alive. Because php5 has been around a while and there is still no support for it.

debugger already supports php5 (since last summer), reseved words can be updated easily. list of functions we have provided. What else ? code explorer ? it requires much work and it's what we're going to release with the next major version.

Hi,
The real problem is that the code explorer doesn't recognise the reserved words "public", "private" and "protected" in front of the function declaration. If you use this reserved words you can't use the code explorer anymore. |

Hello ddmitrie,
If my information is correct and PhpED is really written in Borland Delphi you could use my "PHP Inspector" for your Code Explorer. It has full support for PHP5 constructs and is fast, too. Perhaps you would like to use it (~ 130KB) greets mirage228 |

Code explorer in PHPED 3.3 does NOT support php5 syntax. This functionality will come with the next version of PHPED.

Any word on when the next version will be out? I got the impression that it was to be early in the new year when talking to someone over email at Christmas. I have a large project coming up that I'd love to use PHPed with, but the trial's expired and I don't want to buy 3.3 just for 4.0 to arrive.
