while using the save-as dialog box to save a .php file, PHPed crashed. I first used the selectbox with the file-types (and selected the same option, after investigating other options) and then it just froze. No idea what caused the problem. Does this sound familiar to anyone? By the way, I am talking about version 3.3.2 of PHPed (trial version).

please send me phped.rip (archive it first using zip), tell me phped version/build number and OS you run under (version, service packs etc).

I didn't find any phped.rip, do you mean a mem dump at the moment of the crash, automatically generated? I didn't have a lot of time at that moment, so couldn't do anything more than close it. But if there should still be some memdump somewhere, I'd be happy to send it to you.

Problem is known to happen under Win2000 only and it's been fixed in phped build 3397.
