Would Installing Dreamweaver MX cause any problems?

Hello,
I currently have PHPEd and the tech platform with Apache running great - locally on Windows XP box. I was thinking about installing Dreamweaver MX demo - to check out the software.

Would this cause any potential problems with Phped or the environment. Should I back up any files before installing Dreamweaver? I want to make sure my Phped setup does not get messed up.

Thanks in advance

Based on practice,

no.

The only thing that can get "fucked up" is Dreamweaver registering itself as default editor for php... files. You can either uncheck that during setup or fix it later from windows explorer.

[Anyway, I never so far actually opened any file from outside the editor so this was never an issue for me.]

Doharz,
Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for the default PHP editor setting during installation. That shouldn't be a problem for me - since I plan to be working on the PHP from PHPEd.
Thanks

BTW, to restore .php associated with phped you can run phped.exe with -regserver argument.

Thanks - Let's hope I don't need to use that! But good to know it's there.
